Sigma Rho Chi's

  • What is a Sigma Rho Chi?

A Sigma Rho Chi, also known as Sorority Recruitment Counselor helps potential new members through the recruitment process. A Sigma Rho Chi is a dissafiliated chapter member. This means that she acts as a representatice of the Panhellenic Community and not as an individual member of her chapter. By dissafiliating, the Sigma Rho Chis remain unbias and will help potential new members pick the chapter they feel the most comfortable in. Therefore, potential new members are able to feel comfortable talking to their Sigma Rho Chis about any chapter they visit. Conversations between Sigma Rho Chis and potential new members are kept in strict confidentiality and will not affect where a potential new member ends up. Sigma Rho Chis are also there to deal with any problems and answer any questions.
