Gamma Lambda, University of California at San Diego

Tri Delta is best described by it's sisters as a "home away from home". It is that comfortable place that you can come to and know you will be met with the love and support of your sisters, no matter the situation! Whether it's our weekly Dates with a Sister program, occasional outing, or our socials, Tri Deltas are always strengthening our friendships and sisterhoods while creating long lasting memories.

However, we never forget about our academics! Study dates, prizes, and weekly study hours help the sisters stay on top of academics. Our yearly academic brunch during parent's weekend is used as a time to recognize those who are excelling in their studies.

Tri Deltas take pride in their commitment to St Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. St Jude treats children without regard to race, religion, creed or ability to pay. It is the only pediatric cancer research center where families never pay for treatments that are not covered by insurance, and families without insurance are never asked to pay. The hospital's daily operating costs are approximately $1,216,247, which are primarily covered by public contributions. Since 1999, Tri Delta's around the Nation have helped to donate 3.5 million dollars to St Jude.
10 in 10 for St Jude! Tri Delta has committed to name the Patient Care Floor in the new Chili's Care Center at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. This commitment is for $10 million over a period of 10 years! To help raise money, Tri Delta puts on Delta Idol where members of the Greek Community cheer each other on in a singing competition to become the next Delta Idol.
